Atebubu MP Is Dead

The NDC MP for Atebubu North, David Yaw Mensah is dead. According to a report, the MP was taken ill last Thursday, September 2. Mr. Mensah, aged 70, was reported to have suffered hemorrhage. He threw up blood and was rushed to the St Mathias catholic hospital at Yeji, where he was referred to Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital (KATH), Kumasi, due to the seriousness of his condition.

He died on the way to Kumasi. Hon. David Yaw Mensah entered Parliament in 1992, on the ticket of NDC and has been the representative of the constituency until his death. He gave indication that he was growing old and had not been in good frame of health for sometime now. He did not contest the Atebubu constituency primary election held recently by the party.
