Assemblyman commends USAID ADRA

Sikaa (B/A), Nov 09 GNA – Mr Kwaku Baffoe-A Adamu, the Assembly Member for Sikaa Electoral Area in the Nkoranza District, has commended the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Adventist Development Relief Agency (ADRA) for supporting development of their communities.

Mr. Baffoe-Adamu told Ghana News Agency on Tuesday that USAID and ADRA had constructed three boreholes for the community and also assisted about 20 individuals and house-owners to construct household toilets. They have helped farmers in the area to establish cashew farms and urged the youth to go into the cultivation of cashew to improve their living standards.

Mr Baffoe-Adamu complained of the poor state of roads in the area saying farmers found it difficult to transport their farm produce to the marketing centres.
