Assemblyman calls for help against wee-smoking

Techiman (B/A), July 16, GNA – Mr Emmanuel Nketia, Assembly Member for Tuobodom-Adantase in the Techiman municipality has called on security agencies to help clamp down on Indian hemp smokers in the area. He said the youth were the worst culprits and were wasting their energies on such immoral practice instead of engaging in productive ventures.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Tuobodom, Mr Nketia said there were several hemp smoking dens in the area and appealed to the police monitoring teams to help check the practice. The Assembly member called on chiefs and parents to educate their children to concentrate on their education and to avoid bad peer groups. 16 Jul. 07
