Ejisu(ASH), April 26 GNA—Mr.Stephen Boakye, Assemblyman for Abountem in the Bosomtwe Atwima Kwanwoma District has called on the Assembly to rehabilitate all roads linking the town to other areas which are in a very bad shape.

He said the deplorable conditions of the roads are making life unbearable for commuters since they have to pay extra fares for the their trips.

The Assemblyman who made the call in an interview with the GNA said the town does not also have a public place of convenience. “Residents have to walk miles to the bush to ease themselves,” he added.

Mr Boakye also called for assistance from civil society and other charitable organisations in the area for the rehabilitation of school buildings in the town.
