Assemblyman appeals for help

Adamorobe (E R) March 12, GNA – The Assembly Member for Adamorebe, Mr Joseph Okyere on Saturday appealed to the central government to provide his community with vital amenities such as good roads, culverts and a drainage system. Mr Okyere claimed that since the government started the decentralisation process a number of years ago, only one public toilet has been constructed in the area by the Akuapem South Municipal Assembly.

He said due to the lack of drains, the predominantly farming community suffer post harvest losses while farmers could not go to farm during the rainy season. Mr Okyere said Adamorobe also lack a health facility, compelling the people to carry patients and expectant mothers to Oyibi, about three kilometres away, leading to needless lost of lives.
