The Birim Central Municipal Assembly is to rehabilitate roads in Akim Oda in the Eastern Region as part of efforts to improve the socio-economic wellbeing of the people.
Mr. Asare Nkansah, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), and the Queen mother of Akim Kotoku Traditional Area, have thus cut the sod for rehabilitation work to start on roads in the Akim Oda municipality.
The MCE expressed worry about the nature of the roads in the municipality and, therefore, urged the contractors of the project, Tops Group Construction Firm, not to abandon the contract, but manage to execute it to justify the assembly’s confidence in the firm.
Nana Boni Abankro II, Chief Executive Officer of the firm, said his workers were going to execute the job with all seriousness that it deserved.
“It has been the firm’s motto to undertake all jobs diligently, assiduously, vigorously, and on time,” he stated.
