The Deputy Minister added that a six-month training programme for 70 health extension workers under the same youth programme had started. “Under the contractual agreement with Zoomlion Limited to keep our surrounding clean, the assembly had engaged the services of additional 25 youth to beef up the existing number”, he said. The Acting Municipal Chief Executive said already, the 156 persons selected previously under the agriculture module to benefit from the micro-credit were ready to commence work during the impending major farming season.
