Assembly presents awards to deserving workers

Bekwai (Ash), March 08, GNA-The Amansie East District Assembly has honoured six of its workers for their exceptional sense of duty, hard work and resourcefulness.

They are Mr Joseph Acheampong of the Community Water and Sanitation, Mr Sakyi Boafo, Head of the Department of Social Welfare, Mr Edward Sarkodie, a driver and Miss Matilda Ansah, a community nurse, who received a 20-inch coloured television each.

The others are Mr Emmanuel Ransford Agyepong, the District Information Officer and Mr Charles Obeng Boadu of the Department of Community Development. They each carried away a tabletop fridge. Mr Richard Aboagye, the acting District Chief Executive, expressed the hope that the awards would motivate workers in the area to give off their best.
