Assembly present bags of sugar to Muslim community

The Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly has presented 37 bags of sugar valued at GH? 5,500.00 to the Muslim community in the area towards the celebration of the Eid – Ul Idr.

Mr Gordon Asubonteng, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), said the presentation is to foster brotherliness and peaceful co-existence with the Moslem community as they prepare to celebrate the festive occasion.

He said that the gesture is to recognise the immense role Muslims play in the development of the municipality.

Sheikh Alhaji Zakaria Ibrahim, Municipal Chief Imam, on behalf of the Muslim community thanked the Assembly for the donation.
