Twifo Praso (C/R) March 8. GNA – Hundreds of people comprising civil servants, market women, hairdressers and seamstresses on Monday undertook a three -hour clean-up exercise at Praso to climax the activities marking the 54th Independence anniversary celebration. Led by Mr. Eric B. Oppong, Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District Coordinating Director, they swept Praso and de-silted gutters.
Addressing participants after the exercise Mr. Oppong congratulated them and advised them to always keep their surroundings tidy and cease throwing rubbish into gutters. Participants expressed gratitude to the assembly for organizing the clean-up exercise and suggested that it should be carried out twice in every month. 08 March 11
