Assembly member urges churches to help promote good health

Sansama (B/A), March 12, GNA – Mr. Effah Moro, Assembly Member for Dagombaline Electoral area in Techiman Municipality has emphasized that the solution of sanitation and environmental problems was the responsibility of all in the society. “These problems are not for a particular group or some individuals to solve”, he said and called for collaborative efforts to help promote the good health of the citizenry.

Mr. Effah Moro was addressing more than 30 members of the Manna Prayer Church of Sansama, near Techiman, after spending two hours to fill potholes on the Sansama-Techiman road as part of their celebration of Ghana’s 48th Independence anniversary. He commended the leadership of the church for their communal spirit and urged other voluntary organisations and churches to emulate them to accelerate the development of the area. The Assembly Member advised the leadership of churches to sensitise their congregations to register for the Municipal Mutual Health Insurance Scheme.
