Assembly Member appeals for unity

Pinihe (B/A), Aug 10, GNA – Mr Charles Baafour Amisare, Assembly Member for Pinihe in Nkoranza District, has called on the electorate to unite and not to allow partisan politics to divide their ranks. Speaking at a press conference at Pinihe, he advised the people to guard against practices that could disturb the peace and development process in the community.

Mr Amisare urged supporters of the various political parties to use decent language in their campaigns towards Election 2004.

He commended the District Assembly, for providing development projects in the Pinihe Electoral Area.

Mr Amisare also lauded the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for extending its Quality Improvement In Primary Schools (QUIPS) Project to cover the local Catholic Primary School. He said through QUIPS the school had been provided with a block of six classrooms with an office and store.

A block of three classrooms with an office and store is also under construction for the local Junior Secondary School.
