Assembly gives free books and uniforms to government schools

Takoradi, Sept 22, GNA – The Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, (STMA) has distributed exercise books and school uniforms to government schools within the Metropolis.

Capt Rtd Anthony Cudjoe (Rtd), the Metropolitan Chief Executive who distributed the items, said the government was committed to improving education in the country.

Nana Kofi Adjei Imbeah, Metropolitan Director of Education, said the items had brought hope to the under privileged in society.

He appealed to heads of schools to give the items those who really need them.
