Assembly forms choir group

The Ga West Municipal Assembly at Amasaman, has formed a choir group which would provide music at functions of the assembly.

Madam Sandra Owusu Afriyie, the Public Relations Officer of the Assembly in an interview with the Ghana News Agency said the formation of the choir was initiated by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Sam Atukwei Quaye.

She said it was the first of its kind.

Madam Afriyie said the choir, which was established in line with the vision of the MCE, who is a musician, would soon be inaugurated.

The choir recently entertained audience during the inauguration and swearing-in of the newly elected assembly members of the municipality.
