Suhum, Oct. 24, GNA – The Suhum/Kraboa/Coaltar District Assembly has on Thursday re-elected Mr Asante-Akufo as the Presiding Member of the Assembly for the second term of office. Mr Asante-Akufo, a former District Director of the Ghana Education Service of Suhum/Kraboa/Coaltar District polled 65 out the 68 votes cast.
The Presiding Member thanked the members for the confidence reposed in him and promised to work harder than before. He appealed to Assembly members to work together to achieve their aim, devoid of partisan politics. Oct. 24, 04
