Assembly bans hoisting of party flags on poles

Accra, Nov. 4, GNA – The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) on Thursday asked all political parties to remove their flags, buntings or any party paraphernalia pasted or hung on street lamp posts or electricity poles along the ceremonial road stretching from the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange to the African Liberation Circle (Ridge Circle) immediately.

The parties should also remove all party paraphernalia in roundabouts, along the ceremonial road, a statement Mr N. Arcton-Tettey, Public Relation Officer of AMA signed said.
