Assembly assists school to purchase bus

Ejisu (Ash), March 5, GNA- The Ejisu-Juaben District Assembly on Wednesday presented 100 million cedis to the Ejisuman Secondary School for the purchase of a school bus.

The amount was to top up the 70 million cedis contributed by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school towards the purchase of the vehicle.

Mr Yaw Ahenkora Afrifa, the District Chief Executive presented the amount and said the assembly realised the transportation problem facing the school was acute and therefore decided to assist the school. Mr Fredrick Owusu, Headmaster of the school who received the money, thanked the assembly for the gesture.
