Assemblies of God donates to orphanage

Save Our Lives Orphanage at Anhwiankwanta in the Bekwai Municipality has received gifts valued over GHc4,000.00 in support of the upkeep of the children.

The gifts included bags of rice, sugar, edible oil, detergents, fruit drinks, milk and a television set.

These were a donation from the Youth Ministry of the Assemblies of God Church in Ashanti.

The Reverend Richmond Nana Yaw Mensah, the Regional Youth Director, said it was their contribution towards helping to make life a bit comfortable for the orphans there.

He pledged regular visits to assist address some of the challenges faced by the Home.

Madam Paulina Opei, the founder of the Orphanage, thanked the Church for the gesture and appealed to others to emulate their example.
