Assassination attempt on NPP MP aspirant

There has been another assassination attempt on the Cape Coast North New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for 2016 Mrs. Barbara Asher Ayisi.

The incident which occurred on Saturday morning comes in less than a week after the Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu was stabbed to death at his Shiashi residence at East Legon in Accra.

According to snippets of information gathered by ultimate1069.com, the suspect yet to be identified tried breaking into the house of Mrs. Barbara Asher Ayisi with a kitchen knife and an iron rod.

He was however spotted in the process of entering the house and an alarm raised attracting the youth who managed to arrest and nearly lynched him but for the intervention of the police.

The suspect has since been handed over to the police who are said to be conducting investigations into the incident.
