Asokore Gets 52mC Mosque

Asokore (Ash), – Maulvi Wahab Adam, Head and Missionary-in-charge of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Ghana, has stressed the need for science and religion to go hand in hand if mankind is to be saved from destruction. Opening a 52 million- cedi mosque built by the Ahmadiyya Mission at its Asokore hospital in the Sekyere East District, Maulvi Wahab Adam noted that most ancient Universities started as mosques. He said the building of the mosque at the hospital show the correlation between the secular and spiritual realms and regretted that most mosque have become places for fruitless controversy over who should be Imam. Maulvi Wahab Adam called on Muslims to use the mosque to spread the light of God instead of its becoming a centre for hatred and ignorance.
