Ho, Sept. 22, GNA – All roads will this weekend lead to Ho, the Volta Regional capital for the climax of this year’s Asogli Yam Festival celebrations.
The month-long festival is making Ho livelier with social activities at every suburb.
The period has been characterized by 24-hour heavy human and vehicular traffic with live band music blaring at drinking bars at night as well as street jams.
There are big banners of telecommunication and alcoholic beverage operators all over town.
The occasion has also been good for many traders who are reaping the benefits of brisk business brought about by the influx of local and foreign tourists into town.
The festival on the theme, “Our politics must bring about peace, unity and development” will attract chiefs and people from the Republic of Togo and other traditional areas.
