Asogli Education Fund approves funds for needy but brilliant students

The Asogli Education Fund has approved a total of GHC16,560.00 for disbursement to 39 needy brilliant students in the Ho Municipal area.

The financial support is to enable 26 male and 13 female students to continue their education in various second cycle and tertiary institutions across the country.

A statement signed by Mr John Kukah, Secretary to the Asogli State Council and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday, said about 400 beneficiaries of the Fund had completed their courses in various universities with some of them pursuing further studies in China, Germany and the United States.

The statement urged the beneficiaries to “justify the investment made in their education by studying hard to attain good results.”

It also appealed to philanthropists, benevolent organizations, businesses, churches, chiefs and individuals at home and abroad to help sustain the Fund.
