Asiedu Nketiah is printing new voters cards – LMVCA alleges

A leading member of the pro-opposition Let My Vote Count Alliance (LMVCA) Ibrahim Adjei has hinted that the group will be making a shocking revelation of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) printing some voters’ ID cards fraudulently.

Speaking on Ultimate FM Fact File hosted by Julius Caesar Anadem, he accused the General Secretary of NDC Asiedu Nketiah of being behind the printing of the purported new voters’ cards.

‘We are having reports that Asiedu Nketiah is printing hundreds of thousands of new voters’ cards, this information will come up very soon, if you want proof it will come out this week, they should know that LMVCA, we are very wide awake to what is happening,’ he claimed.

He challenged Mr. Nketiah to file a suit against him at the court if he thinks that his image is tarnished.

‘It’s a strong allegation, the courts are there, he should quickly come and take me to court,’ he said.

The leading member of LMVCA charged the Electoral Commission (EC’s) Boss Madam Charlotte Osei to wake up from her slumber if she believes that she only supervises NDC members.

‘Charlotte Osei should wake up if she seriously thinks that only NDC members are working in EC, we have New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters, Convention Peoples’ Party (CPP), Progressive Peoples’ Party (PPP), Peoples’ National Convention (PNC) supporters who are working in EC’s national, regional and district offices. We have Ghanaians manning those offices; we are getting the filla, appor and the leaks that this is what is going on, it’s happening, and we are wise to it,’ he alleged.
