Newly elected Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sworn to deal drastically with the constituency chairman for Awutu Senya Municipal Assembly, Alhaji Habib Dramani.
Mr. Dramani, after results were declared on Saturday in favour of Allotey Jacobs, slapped the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Awutu Senya East, Adams Nuhu, for supporting Mr. Jacobs.
Mr Nuhu in an interview said, “the only crime I committed was to offer my support and technical advice to the current chairman who won massively over the incumbent.”
He confirmed that the slapping incident occurred when he tried offering a handshake to delegates after the elections “So when I got to him, he raised his hands and gave me two dirty-hot slaps.
Reacting to the issue in an interview on Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Allotey Jacobs said: “he (Habib Dramani) will face the full rigors of the law in the NDC… I will not tolerate this kind of nonsense in the party there should be discipline in the party…his punishment will be a deterrent to all…We will let the law also slap him”.
