Kumasi, Jan. 13, GNA – The Ashanti Region Second Hand Shoe Sellers’ Association has sent a congratulatory message to President Kufuor on his re-election for a second four-year term.
The message signed by Nana S.K. Boateng, Chairman and Mr Charles Sefa Boateng, Secretary, said the re-election of President Kufuor clearly demonstrated the confidence the good people of Ghana had in his leadership qualities and his ability to turn the economy round. “Sir, during your first term in office, Ghana has witnessed decency in the Presidency, good governance, rule of law, infrastructural development above all Ghana has known peace unsurpassed in the last two decades in the country’s history”.
The message asked the President not to rest on his oars but to see his second term in office as a challenge to demonstrate to the people of Ghana his commitment and resolve to serve and excel in his office. The Association expressed the hope that the Positive Change Chapter Two would bring a lot of improvement in the lives of Ghanaians as was done in his first term in office.
