Ashanti Regional Police Administration commends public

Kumasi, Feb 24, GNA – The Public Relations Unit of the Ashanti Regional Police Administration has expressed appreciation to the public for the arrest of one Kwabena Bekoe alias “Body” who assaulted a policewoman a few weeks ago at Bantama and fled. A statement signed by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Jordan Quaye, who is in-charge of the public relations unit in Kumasi, said some members of the general public and police sympathizers monitored his movement and informed the Buffalo Unit about his hide-pot leading to his arrest on Thursday.

The police extended its appreciation to all law-abiding people and to those directly involved in the arrest of Bekoe, who is now in police custody and asked the people to continue to be patriotic and a friend of the police.
