Ashanti NDC youth picks new executives

Adansi-Asokwa (Ash), Sept.8, GNA – The Ashanti Regional Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has organised elections in six out of the 39 constituencies in the Region to elect new executives. The elections formed part of the re-organisation exercise by the party to strengthen its structures at the constituency levels to work effectively to win the 2008 general elections.

They were, Mr Samuel Kontor, Youth Organiser for Kumawu constituency with Mr Stephen Adei as his Deputy, Adansi Asokwa elected Mr Charles Owusu Nkansa as Youth Organiser and Mr B.A Amoako as his Deputy.

Mr Kenneth Agyei Appiah, Youth Organiser for Akrofuom, Mr Osei Bonsu, Youth Organiser for Nsuta-Kwamang, Mr Charles Ofori Junior, Youth Organiser for Bekwai and Mr Abdul Hamza Karim as Youth Organiser for Ahafo-Ano South.

Mr Yaw Owusu, Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser who supervised the elections, appealed to the elected executives to organise their branches effectively and recruit faithful party agents for the 2008 elections.
