Asesewa hospital gets support

Joseph Tetteh, the newly-elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Upper Manya Krobo Constituency in the Eastern Region, has assured the management of Asesewa Government Hospital of his continuous support for quality healthcare.

He was speaking at the presentation of over 25 boxes of detergents and other items worth over GHc2,000 to the Asesewa Government Hospital.

Mr Tetteh who was accompanied to the hospital by the area NPP executives, however, appealed to management to use the detergents to the benefit of the patients, adding that it would help to solve most of the challenges being faced by the hospital.

Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr Eric Boateng, commended the aspirant MP for his kind gesture, taking advantage of his (Mr Tetteh) visit to appeal for more support from other corporate organisations.

He expressed worry that the current power outages were having negative effects on the hospital as a lot of money is needed to fuel their stand-by generator.
