Asateman Union donates to Tamale Teaching Hospital

Tamale, Sept. 26, GNA – The Asateman Union of Switzerland has donated assorted food products to the Children’s ward of the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

The donation worth GH¢5,000, included rice, cooking oil, milk, milo and toiletries is aimed at improving the nutritional value of the patients in the hospital.

Miss Vivian Ablerdu, the Public Relations Officer of the Union presented the items in Tamale saying children were to be loved and protected by society hence the donation.

Madam Elizabeth Danso, the Matron of the Hospital who received the items on behalf of the children, thanked the Union for their philanthropic gesture and urged other societal groupings to emulate their effort
