Kumasi, Nov. 16, GNA – The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, will receive an honorary doctorate degree from the Igbinedion University, Okada, Benin city in Nigeria next Tuesday.
Igbinedion University, Okada, is the first private university in Nigeria. It was established by Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom.
A statement signed by Mr Osei Antwi, Media Relations Manager at the Manhyia Palace, said Otumfuo would be accompanied by a delegation, including paramount chiefs from Asanteman.
