Asantehene to address NCCE democracy lecture

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will today deliver the democracy lecture of the National Commission for Civic Education.

Otumfuo will be exploring the challenges facing the country’s democratic governance as part of activities marking the 20th anniversary of the Fourth Republic.

The lecture will deepen the understanding of the citizenry about constitutional democracy to build a stronger and vibrant governance system.

Radio XYZ 93.1 FM will broadcast live the lecture which starts at 4pm at the national theatre.

Meanwhile, the Asantehene is expected to meet 2012 NPP presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo at his residence today. It is not clear what the two leaders will be discussing.
