Asantehene lauds Prof. Quarm Publications

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has lauded the efforts and the good work of Prof Quarm Publications Limited for contributing immensely to the education of the country particularly in the area of Science.
The Asantehene who is very enthusiastic about education particularly at the less endowed areas of the country was impressed with the achievements of the Company and the successes it has chalked since it establishment fifteen years ago.
He has therefore promised to offer any assistance within his ability as the Asantehene to encourage Management of the Publishing House to continue to contribute to uplift the standard of education from the primary through to the senior high level.
Otumfuo made these commendations when the management of Prof. Quarm Publications paid a
courtesy call on him and donated 900 copies of Science text books authored by Mr. Joseph Albert
Quarm the Chief Executive Officer of the Company to the Otumfuo Charity Foundation. The 900 books
comprised all the nine titles of Prof. Quarm Publications making 100 copies on each title.

Mr Joseph Albert Quarm told Business & Financial Times in an interview that as a partner in education and haven’t realised the good work of the Asantehene and his passion for education in the country, it was appropriate for him to contribute to his good course. According to him, his primary objective is to contribute to the study of science in the country particularly at the primary level and to encourage the younger ones to have the passion to pursue science to the highest level.

Prof. Quarm Publications Limited is a publishing house that prints only Science text books from Primary to the senior high schools nationwide. The CEO is an experienced Science teacher who has taught in many senior high schools in Ghana and abroad and currently pursuing PhD in Biological Science at the KNUST.

Currently about 70% of the senior high schools in the country use the Prof Quarm series which many have attested to its usefulness in the study of Science. Management of the Printing House hopes to make their primary Science textbooks available in all primary schools to state a case in the Company’s vision of encouraging primary school pupils to have passion to study science.
