Asante Mampong Teachers’ Technical College inaugurates PTA

Mampong (Ash), Nov 1, GNA- The newly constituted Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Asante Mampong Teachers’ Technical College has pledged to help instil discipline among the students.

The PTA made the pledge at its maiden meeting at Asante Mampong, which endorsed a code of discipline for the College.

Mr. Leonard Yao Amuzu, the Principal said the College was collaborating with stakeholders to launch a programme that would deal with the root causes of student disturbances.

An interim three-member Executive Committee charged with an oversight responsibility of building a healthy, progressive and virile PTA was put in place.

It comprises Mr. Edward Twumasi, a Revenue Officer, Mr. S.O. Bediako Nyame, of the Ghana National Fire Service and Madam Esther Addai, an Assembly member.
