Ghanaians in Washington Metro area are in shock over the death of a community leader. Nana Owusu Opong-Wade Nkwantabisa, Abusuapanin of the Asante Association is reported dead.
The leaders of the Asante Association in Washington Metro; Nana Kofi Boateng, Asantefuohene, Nana Ama Akyiaa, Asantefuohemaa , Mr. Kwame Prempeh, President and the entire Asante Community in the Washington Metro Area are devastasted over the death of its Abususapanin.
Nana Owusu Opong-Wade Nkwantabisa as reported, died on Monday, March 20, 2006 at Washington Hospital in Washington, DC after a short illness.
Abusuapanyin, Nana Opong-Wade Nkwantabisa,was instrumental in the installation of of Nana Kofi Boateng, Asantefuohene of Washington Metro Area.
Details of the funeral arrangements will be released very soon.
