Asa B Lobbying For Position

The former minister of information, Mr. Asamoah Boateng, this morning denied the allegation that he is lobbying for the position of general secretary of the NPP. Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show, Mr. Asamah Boating said “I have not submitted my name or picture anywhere to contest for any position in the NPP and I have not said anything about it either”.

He said, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has it own constitution they use to govern the affairs of the party and selections of executives, so the speculations that, some people are fighting for positions are false, he said for now they are working hard together towards the year 2010 for success.

Mr. Asamoah Boateng also, appealed to all NPP members to be calm and try to solve some of their issues indoors instead of making it public.

“Let me use this opportunity to appeal to all my party members, to let us chat indoors sometimes instead in papers” he summed up.
