Armed Robbers Raid Three Houses At Nsawam

Twelve armed robbers at the weekend, attacked three houses at Nsawam Ayigbetown and took away 50 million cedis and personal belongings.

The Nsawam police who confirmed the incident told the Ghana News Agency, on Tuesday, that efforts were being made to arrest them.

They said two people, Mr Samuel Awuah, 46, caretaker of Korania Guesthouse and Mr Asinyo Atsu, a 70 year-old Watchman of the Grace Chapel International Gospel Church who were injured in the raid are on admission at the Nsawam Government Hospital.

The police said the armed robbers locked the Reverend Glitter Sowah Adjei, his wife and a child in a toilet room and disconnected telephone and electricity wires during the operation, preventing the Pastor from calling the police.
