Armed men shoot Police Officer in Upper West region

Police in the Upper West Region are on a manhunt for four unidentified armed men from Bussie who shot a Police man.

The armed men attacked Lance Corporal Kofi Antwie who was returning from Piree, a village under Fian on a Pentecostal church evangelism.

Upon reaching a section between Tuori and BUSSIE, the robbers confronted him and shot at him.

Deputy Regional Police Commander, DCOP Edward Oduro-Kwarteng told GBC’s Radio Ghana at Wa that the Police Officer survived the attack and is responding to treatment.
