Armed Forces to conduct exercise at Bundase

Accra, Oct. 6, GNA – The Ghana Armed Forces would conduct training exercises in the Bundase area at the Accra Plains from October 6 to October 14, a statement signed by Lt. Col. Y. Dzotefe-Mensah of the Ghana Armed Forces Public Relations Department said.

“The exercise, which will involve air manoeuvres, ground troop movements and firing of heavy calibre weapons, is a routine training exercise aimed at testing the state of combat readiness of some elements of the Armed Forces,” it said.

The statement asked the general public not to panic when they saw such movements.
