His Excellency President John Atta Mills has appointed Dr. Sulley Gariba as a Development Policy Advisor in the Office of the President.
Dr. Gariba, will advise on, and support the preparation of a comprehensive strategy for the proposed Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) and assist in formulating the legislative framework, funding processes, and implementation steps for the set-up and smoothing take-off of SADA.
Additionally, the Development Policy Advisor will be responsible for establishing a credible coordinating mechanism with Regional Coordinating Councils, District Assemblies, Ministries, Departments, Agencies, NGOs, and private sector agencies which have a stake in the fund.
Dr. Sulley Gariba is an International Development Policy Specialist.
His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Vice President, is the Chairman of the Policy Unit.
