An identified group of people in the Nima-Maamobi enclave of Ayawaso East and North Constituencies in Accra is calling on President Nana Akufo-Addo to give Alhaji Yusif Fofana an appointment or be rocked with massive demonstration.
According to the group, Alhaji Fofana, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Greater Accra Regional Communications Director is a selfless, hardworking patriot and long serving member of the party who should be rewarded.
Posters calling for his appointment have popped up around the Nima-Maamobi area, asking residents to rise up and defend their cause.
They claim President Akufo-Addo is refusing to appoint their who son has worked tirelessly for NPP over the years.
There has been simmering tension within the governing NPP because some prominent members of the NPP including former General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John; NPP Communications Director, Nana Akomea have not been given any appointments so far.
