A Group in the Agona East District has called for a visionary District Chief Executive (DCE) to help build a strong party.

The Group calling itself “Youth of President Mahama for 2016 Election Victory” in the Agona District of the Central Region has called on the President John Dramani Mahama to nominate a DCE for Agona East who would unite and lead the party to victory in 2016.

Mr Kofi Seth, President of the Group who made this known at a press Conference at Agona Asafo, said the Agona East branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) needed to unite to overcome the numerous problems confronting the party.

According to the group, some constituency executives were creating rancor and hatred in the party, which was not in the interest of the party.

He appealed to the President to appoint somebody who is a unifier, trustworthy and has served the party for a long time to facilitate the Development of the party.

Mr Martin Luther Obeng, has been removed from Office as District Chief Executive (DCE).
