Apostolic Church of Ghana Women’s Convention ends

Suhum, July 20, GNA – A one-week District Convention for Women in the Apostolic Church of Ghana in the Suhum/Kraboa/Coaltar District under the theme “the unchanging God” has ended at Suhum in the Eastern Region.

The District Pastor of the church, Rev. Patrick Cobblah, expressed concern about some Christian mothers who supported their daughters to marry rich men with dubious characters such as cocaine dealers and armed robbers. He said because of monetary gains, most people especially women leave their mother churches to “mushroom churches” where they could be easily deceived.

Rev Cobblah said God created women with dignity and respect to serve the society but women had abused those privileges as a result of bad lifestyle.

He said due to that most of the prisons in the country were full of women who were arrested for criminal offences.
