Apostle Safo Calls For Peace

The leader and founder of Christo Asafo Mission, Dr Apostle Kwadwo Safo has called on Ghanaians to ensure total peace in the upcoming general elections.

He said Ghanaians do not have anywhere to go in the event of war or mayhem in the country.

Dr. Apostle Safo stated this when he celebrated his birthday at Mpota in the Gomoa West District of the Central region.

The ceremony was attended by thousands of people which included politicians, chiefs, opinion leaders, church members as well as loved ones.

The people, who were served with drinks and food, were entertained by Christo Asafo Live Band as well as cultural groups.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Apostle Safo noted that the mission would ensure violence-free election, adding it was in the process of manufacturing a robot which will be displayed across the county to promote peace by December.

He underscored the need for Christians, Muslims and traditional rulers to come together and pray for peace since war will destroy the hard-won reputation of the country.

The founder emphasized the need for students in the country to take their studies seriously to become responsible people in future as well as contribute their quota towards the development of the country.

He said he had sponsored hundreds of people at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to manage the engineering sector of Ghana’s economy.

In attendance were the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John, aspiring NPP parliamentary candidate for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA), Dr. Nana Ato Arthur and some executives of the party from other regions.
