Apostle Onyina cautions against insults

The chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr Opoku Onyinah, has appealed to Ghanaians to stop the insults and focus on developing the nation.

He said, “We can never develop as a nation if all we do is insulting each other. The insult in the country is too much and it must stop.”

Apostle Onyina made this known during the dedication of the reconstructed Church of Pentecost’s Twereboa Central Assembly building in Dansoman, Accra.

He said, “The nation has abundance of natural resources yet we cannot develop. Until we change our way of thinking and doing things in the country, we will never make progress.”

Apostle Onyina added, “We talk more than we act…I pray we practically demonstrate what we say.”

He attributed the high level of corruption that had bedevilled the country to the country’s unpreparedness to fight corruption with the right attitude.

“We need to have the right minds and attitudes to fight corruption in order to develop the nation,” Apostle Onyina said.

He urged Ghanaians to work hard in order to change the fortunes of the nation, urging Christians to also avoid taking bribes because the Holy Scripture frowned upon it.

He said, “We fall into sin because we don’t understand who God is. When we always recognize the fact that God lives in us, we will not sin.”
