Apostle Ntumy inaugurates chapel at Besoro-Ashanti

Besoro-Ashanti, July 03, GNA – Apostle Dr Michael Kwabena Ntumy, Chairman of Church of Pentecost International last Sunday inaugurated a chapel for Besoro Assembly of the church at Besoro near Kumawu in Ashanti.

He also dedicated a set of instruments, plastic chairs and signpost all valued at about 90,000 new Ghana Cedis (900 million cedis). Mr and Mrs Hanson Adu-Gyamfi, members of the church and citizens of the town domiciled in Alexandria-Virginia, United States of America (USA) provided the items.

Apostle Ntumy said their gesture required commendation and behoved members to pray for them to receive God’s blessings. He asked members of the church to exhibit self-control, love and respect for others, hard work and not be complacent in the service of God.

In a sermon, Prophet Appiah Kubi, Sefwi-Wioso Area Head of the church told the congregation that their physical body was also a church and should make it holy.

He called on all and sundry to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour and join the church to uplift their spiritual and physical development to merit the Kingdom of God.

Mr Philip Basoah, Sekyere East District Chief Executive said dedication of the building and other items were to let people know, accept God and serve him.

He stressed the need for the church to work hard to reverse immoral practices and other social vices that had plagued the society. Mr Basoah appealed to Ghanaians especially, religious organizations to support Government policies and programmes to facilitate the country’s development.

Mr Adu-Gyamfi, Manager of Hans Electronics said he was called in a dream to build a chapel for the church at a tender age when he was learning a trade.

He pledged to release his bungalow for a Mission house.
