APC’s ‘fever’ catches NDC, NPP supporters

Some members of both the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) and opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), at Adeiso Zongo have cross carpet to the All People’s Congress (APC).

The disappointed members of the NDC and NPP told our correspondent Prince Collins Benning that, they took the decision because both parties have failed to transform the lives of residents in the Zongo communities.

The defected members said each government have also failed to assist members of the community to have an opportunity to embark on the annual holy journey to Mecca.

Youth unemployment they said, is one of the major challenges confronting them in the community. Shiek Amin Yaro PRO on behalf of the National Chief Imam in the area, in an interview with Nyankonton Mu Nsem confirmed the story and indicated that, those who have decided to defect to the party APC, are doing so because of the disappointment they have in both parties.

Meanwhile, the parliamentary candidate for APC, Mutarla Abubakar, is gaining grounds in the area as residents are rooting for him to represent them. He has promised to deliver on the request made by the residents if voted for.
