Apam Secondary congratulates Miss Ghana

Apam (Central Region) 16 Oct ’98 The headmistress of Apam Secondary School, Mrs Esther Hamilton, has on behalf of the staff and students, congratulated Miss Efia Owusua Marfo, a past student of the school, for winning the Miss Ghana ’98’ crown. In a statement to the press, Mrs Hamilton said the school was elated when its product was adjudged the most beautiful lady in Ghana. She urged her to let discipline, which has been the watchword of the school and has helped many of its products to achieve laurels in many fields, guide her in her preparations for the Miss World beauty contest.

She cautioned the beauty queen not to let complacency creep into her programmes to achieve the ultimate.

Mrs Hamilton said the school is solidly behind her and wished her the best of luck in the Miss Universe competition. GRi
