Apaak to contest Builsa South Parliamentary seat

Presidential staffer, Dr Clement Apaak says he is considering contesting the Builsa South parliamentary seat come 2016.

According to him, the decision stems from his willingness to do more to improve the living conditions of people in the constituency.

The seat is currently being occupied in parliament by a PNC member, Alhassan Azong.

Speaking to Starr News at the 8th delegates Congress of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Dr. Apaak, however, said he will wait for the President to approve his decision before he makes further moves towards annexing the seat.

In his view, it will be easy for him to clinch victory should he contest, in view of the popularity of the NDC in the constituency.
