TWO GATES CLASH OVER BIMBILLA SKIN
Frightening signals are emerging from Bimbilla, the paramount seat of the Nanum Traditional Area over who qualifies to succeed the late Naa Abarika Atta who died in 1999 as the overlord of the Nanum Traditional Area.
Investigations at Bimbilla indicates that members of the two gates which are eligible to the Bimbilla skin – Gbugumayili and Banyili are in arms, beating war drums in anticipation of a violent confrontation in support of their preferred candidates for the vacant Bimbilla skin.
THE INDEPENDENT reveals that but for the timely intervention of the military to prevent the enskinment of Nakpanaa Salifu Dawuni, as the Bimbilla Naa, there would have been an obvious bloodshed at Bimbilla last Friday.
