Anomabo Kwegyir Aggrey Secondary/Technical School to be relocated

Anomabo (C/R), March 21, GNA – The Anomabo Traditional Council has made available 20 acres of land for relocation of Anomabo Kwegyir Aggrey Secondary/Technical School.

Nana Aggrey, Mpontuhen of Anomabo, announced this when the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman West, Mr Aquinas Tawiah Quansah, donated a bus to the school on behalf of the government to the school. Nana Aggrey appealed to the citizens to support the government to develop the school to befit the status of Dr Kwegyir Aggrey, an illustrious son of the town, whom the school was named after. Mr Quansah said the government had approved a three-storey dormitory for the school but the school lacked space for future development and called for its relocation.

Mr Henry Kweku Hayfron, the Mfantseman Municipal Chief Executive, said the government was making efforts to solve problems facing schools in the country and appealed to parents to invest in the education of their children to ensure that government interventions became worthwhile.

Mr Edmund Donkoh, the Headmaster, thanked the government for the donation and said it had come at the right time.
